Use case: email template with Cc / Bcc

Support and sales pages often need a “Contact us” link that prefills a subject, includes an internal Cc, and optionally a Bcc for ticketing — without maintaining a server-side form on day one.

Who this helps

Marketers, indie site owners, and docs authors who already publish static pages and want a correct mailto: with copies — related searches people use include mailto link generator / mailto generator / generate mailto.

The problem

Hand-built links break on spaces and line breaks. Docs (for example HubSpot’s mailto explanations) show the syntax, but assembling Cc, Bcc, and a multi-line body into URI + HTML + Markdown for a CMS is tedious. Uploading recipient lists to a third-party “generator” may also be unnecessary risk for simple contact links.

The workflow

  1. Open the generator.
  2. Set To to your public inbox (for example hello@example.com).
  3. Add an internal ops address on Cc, and a ticket catcher on Bcc if your client supports it.
  4. Prefill subject (Website inquiry) and a short body checklist.
  5. Copy HTML into the site button, or Markdown into docs. Watch the length warning.
  6. Click the published link once on desktop and mobile mail apps.
Honest limits: this does not send email or replace a form backend. Bcc behavior varies by client. We do not invent keyword volumes; direction research for this product used public similar-term evidence around mailto generators, not fabricated KD.
